For 73 years, the IUSSI has been the home of social insect research.

The IUSSI is the world's society for biological research focused on the social insects - ants, bees, wasps, termites, and others. For 73 years, we have been leading the conversation about 'the little things that run the world'. Today, we are composed of 11 sections in different regions of the world, publish the scientific journal Insectes Sociaux, and host a series of conferences around the world, including the World Congress of social insect biologists every four years. Join us!
