The home of social insect biology

The IUSSI is the world's society for biological research focused on the social insects - ants, bees, wasps, termites, and others. For 73 years, we have been leading the conversation on social insect ecology, evolution, physiology, behaviour, conservation, and more. Today, we are composed of 11 sections in different regions of the world, publish the scientific journal Insects Sociaux, and run conferences around the world, including the World Congress of social insect biologists every four years. Join us!
